2 Bad Mice are in fact a trio that consists of Sean O'Keefe, Simon Colebrooke and producer Rob Playford. They collaborated and released tracks under two group names, 2 Bad Mice and Kaotic Chemistry. Since their formation in 1991, 2 Bad Mice have distinguished themselves because of their infusion of hip-hop beats or break-beats into dance music. You can hear the influence they have had on numerous other artists as break beat evolved into jungle and other genres of dance music, such as trip-hop and funky house. The popularity and rise of break beat crosses the boundaries of hip-hop and dance, uniting the two communities. Now you can taste what started it all by one of the originators and hear the freshest beats with one of the most popular sounds in the U.S. from Florida to California. 
 
There album release of "Kaotic Chemistry" is full of funky breaks and rolling beats. This is the first full length release of their different projects. This British act turns up the speed on this 15 track, 80 minute compilation of their critically acclaimed and commercially successful singles & b-sides released over the past few years. "Kaotic Chemistry" contains classic tracks, such as "Hold it Down" and "Bombscare" -the original break beat anthem and UK hit single recorded in 1992. It also includes the rare hands-in-the-air crowd pleasing remix "Bombscare (UXB Mix)"- a happy, progressive house track with a massive piano breakdown and "Bombscare (94 Mix)"-the vocal layered mix which became a top ten single in both Chicago and Orlando.
2 Bad Mice play live. They have a performance style that defines the legendary-large scale UK raves complete with a freestyle mc and dancers. Their own MC Flux works the crowd in front of the 2 Bad Mice dancers as Rob and Sean throw down the beats.
